An Evening of Giving Back, Inaugural Event, March 30, 2019
More than 200 people attended the concert at a Saddle River private residence, which featured world-renowned pianist and composer, Eric Genuis. He performed all original compositions with a distinguished ensemble including a violinist, cellist, and vocalist. Through the support of the Arts Council, Mr. Genuis also played at the New Jersey State Prison in Trenton, which was the first concert held at that prison in over 30 years.

Saddle River Day, September 7, 2019
Please visit our booth at Rindlaub Park.
Making of a Bronze, October 17, 2019
The event will feature a studio tour with world-renowned sculptor, Carolyn D. Palmer, a Saddle River resident, and Arts Council member. Ms. Palmer uses the ancient lost wax process, which dates back thousands of years and is time-consuming. Ms. Palmer will describe her creative process for making her bronze sculptures, featuring her well-known work, 800-pound Lucille Ball. Ms. Palmer won a national competition by a unanimous vote out of 68 sculptors to create this “new” Lucille Ball statue. Proceeds will benefit Dreaming Zebra Foundation, gifting underprivileged children with art and music supplies.
Holiday Concert, December 6, 2019
The Arts Council will invite young prodigy musicians from the metropolitan area to perform classical and holiday music at a beautiful home in Saddle River. More information will follow.
Havana Night, April 25th, 2020
The Saddle River Arts Council will be partnering with The Valley Hospital Auxiliary, Saddle River Valley Branch, to host an evening of Cuban culture, music, dancing, and food. Proceeds will help fund additional art initiatives at inner city schools, the Valley Hospital Auxiliary’s pledge to establish the Pediatric Section of the Emergency Department of the New Valley Hospital, and the Butterflies program—an in-home, pediatric palliative and hospice care program.
